IMG_3944_tDar vienas eksperimentas. Kamera inkiliuke. Pavasarį pro langą iškėliau inkiliuką. Deja paukščiai taip ir neapsigyveno, tačiau buvo visokių svečių…

 

 

 

Kadangi vieta nėra labai tinkama (aukšta,  vakarinė namo pusė) įrenginėdamas neturėjau daug vilčių, jog kas apsigyvens, tačiau buvo gera proga pabandyti. Žemiau kelios nuotraukos kaip atrodo šiuolaikinis inkiliukas bei keli svečiai.

    Have few question as i dream about such nest box :)
    Very good quality IR pictures (last picture seems to be colour). What camera have you used?
    What is this grey box on side of nest box?
    How to you stream video? Full time online or some kind of trigger to start recording when bird is inside?

      Was using dissected ip camera. Don’t remember which kind it was.

      I can recommend you http://www.kurokesu.com/shop/cameras/CAMUSB1 camera with RaspberryPi. This setup can stream 1080p real-time.

    Thanks for information. How do you record your videos? 24 h?
    Your nest box is quite high (great forest landscape), so it is difficult to reach for common small birds. Maybe you could try to make special nesting box for Apus apus. These are high flyers and like such concrete high buildings. Actually there are not so many nest videos of these birds available online.

      For this particular bird box I used motion trigger. But some other landscape cameras take pictures each 10-60s for 24h.

      Thank you for suggestion. I dismantled this setup and gave bird box to a friend. It was really to high and to open for birds to settle.
