Recently I bought stereo microscope to scale things a bit. Though this microscope has option to attach camera, decent cameras cost as much as microscope itself or even more. So, I designed adapter for Iphone. This adapter attaches directly to en eye piece, so any microscope can be used. This adapter can be made at home on your 3D printer.
There are several wireless scales on the market but none of them implements functions I like (or overpriced). This scale logger is attempt to build wireless scale from existing components like Carambola 2 and USB IR Toy and, of course, scale with remote indicator. Implemented purely on Python this project enables gathering, sending and displaying weight data to any service you like or even build one yourself.
Apple portable devices have nice feature to listen for music over the air. It is called AirPlay. On the other hand OpenWrt has tools (avahi and shairport) to play audio stream from your gadgets. It would be shame not to use Carambola2 board to play music from Apple device. Let’s build WiFi speaker for AirPlay devices.
Again some new photographic techniques. This picture was taken using 4m (128 pixels height) RGB led strip mounted on aluminium tube and controlled by Carambola2 from 8devices. Camera was set to long exposure and I moved led strip along to get a picture.

Pažadėjo duoti elektros ir Interneto. Praėjus keliom dienom nuvažiavom į vietą, kur pasitiko linksmas, šmaikštus, gerai nusiteikęs ir svetingas kolektyvas.
Logitech C920 is a wonderful webcam. It produces good picture quality and has hardware H.264 encoder. It can do real full HD streaming (1920×1080 p @ 30fps). But this webcam lacks one feature – it has fixed lens which sometimes is not acceptable. Also by removing stock lens you have access to infrared (IR) part of spectrum. There comes custom black anodized aluminium case.
